Three items: an oversized matte-finish 10 x 13 photo of Callas in her last performance of Tosca at London’s Covent Garden on February 9, 1964, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, “To Bob Tollett, with all best wishes, Maria Callas 1970.” Cloth matted and framed to an overall size of 17 x 20.5. Secondly, an original full-length color mixed-media sketch of Callas in costume in the second act of Tosca, titled by Nicola Benois at the upper right “Tosca 2° atto (Maria Callas),” and signed by him 11 years later, “Nicola Benois 75.” Double matted and framed to an overall size of 20.5 x 26.25. Thirdly, another original full-length color mixed-media sketch of Callas in costume in the third act of Tosca, titled by Benois “Tosca III atto,” and also signed later, “Nicola Benois 75,” and also double matted and framed to an overall size of 20.5 x 26.25. In fine condition, with Callas’s signature and inscription a few shades light, but completely legible. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
