Description

Schulz draws a Snoopy sketch for an LPGA player

Original signed and inscribed full-length felt tip sketch of Snoopy leaning on a golf club, with a heart springing from his chest, on the reverse of an off-white 8.75 x 12.75 gold score card sheet. Signed and inscribed, “For Kathy, my favorite partner—Sparky (Schulz)”. According to the original consignor, the original recipient was LPGA player Kathy Martin, who was paired with Schulz during a pro-am tournament in San Diego in 1974. In fine condition, with a mild overall shade of toning over sketch and signature from previous framing, and a slightly rough left edge. A fabulous full-length sketch, coupled with Schulz’s nickname usually reserved for close friends and colleagues, elevates this sketch above par. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
