Wahler, and Herschel Williams; an ink signature of Joe Rosenthal on the return address area of a clipped San Francisco Chronicle envelope; and a glossy 8 x 10 photo of the first flag-raising atop Mount Surabachi, signed in black felt tip, “Charles W. Lindberg, 1st Flag Raiser, Iwo Jima, Feb. 23, 1945, 10:30 A.M.” All five items are double matted and framed together with a small amount of sand from the island, a small photo of Rosenthal’s classic flag-raising photo, and a postage stamp, to an overall size of 19.75 x 20.
