Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 Hal Phyfe portrait of Hagen’s wife Edna, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “Dear Hal, This is the best picture you have ever made. I hope you believe me. Golfingly, Walter Hagen.” Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from James Spence. In fine condition, with light contrast to beginning of signature, and a hint of subtle silvering.
