Color satin-finish 11 x 14 photo of the Mercury 7 astronauts posing in their pressure suits, taken during training at NASA’s Langley Research Center, signed in black felt tip by John Glenn, Alan Shepard, Gordon Cooper, Scott Carpenter, Deke Slayton, and Wally Schirra. This photo shoot was the only occasion on which all seven astronauts were captured together in their pressure suits. Note that Slayton and Glenn are wearing spray-painted work boots.
