Attractive vellum DS as president, one page, 15.5 x 19.25, September 1, 1914. President Wilson appoints Roland M. Comfort to the position of “Lieutenant junior grade in the Navy.” Signed at the bottom by Wilson and countersigned by Secretary of the Navy Josephus Daniels. Rolled and in fine condition, with scattered creasing and wrinkling, and Wilson’s signature perhaps just a shade light. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
