Uniform agreement for the assignment of a player’s contract between the Charleston and Pittsburgh Pirates. Pittsburgh agrees to repurchase the contract of George William Paul Pettit for the sum of $500. Neatly signed at the bottom by Rickey. Two letters regarding the transaction are stapled in front of the document. Several office stamps and notations, aforementioned staple, and an extra staple hole, otherwise fine condition.
