Partly printed DS, signed “P. Henry” as Governor of Virginia, one page, 15.25 x 19, June 1, 1785. A grant for a parcel of 2000 acres along the Green River in Jefferson County issued to John McClanahan. The paper seal is toned and worn but intact. The document has been professionally silked on the reverse. In very good condition, with silking as noted (repairing complete intersecting fold separations), scattered small areas of paper loss along folds, and scattered mild toning (a bit heavier along folds).
