Striking matte-finish 9.5 x 11.5 photo of a painting of a seated Edison, signed and inscribed in ink in the blank lower border, “To Jesse Lasky, Jr., Thos. A. Edison.” Lasky (1910–1988), the son of the same-named film producer, was himself a distinguished screenwriter whose efforts included such classics as Hitchcock’s Sabotage, Reap the Wild Wind, Samson and Delilah, and The Ten Commandments.
