Most unfortunately my mother was not a ‘paper keeper’ and after having allowed Admiral Mark Kerr to write the biography of my father she destroyed all his papers. I have a splendid muniments room at Broadlands full of my own archives and those of my wife’s family but none, alas, of my father’s papers.” In fine condition, with an intersecting fold, staple holes to top left, and an erased notation to top right.
