TLS signed “Cole,” one page, 8.5 x 11, Waldorf-Astoria letterhead, December 12, 1941. Porter writes to multiple-Tony-winning producer Gilbert Miller (1884–1970). In part: “I’m sorry to have called you this morning and then not have been able to talk, but in the meantime a long distance call arrived and mixed up everything. I enclose a telegram from Heather Miller.” In very good condition, with a few tiny spots, small edge tears, and wrinkles, no faults affecting the clear, dark signature. R&R COA.
