Original production cel from the 1942 animated Disney short “Der Fuehrer’s Face,” featuring an angry Donald Duck shouting into a candlestick telephone, presented against an airbrushed Courvoisier background, 7.25 x 6.75, signed and inscribed in red pencil on the mat, “To Wendy with best wishes from Walt Disney.” Accompanied by the original label from Courvoisier Galleries. Creatively matted and framed to an overall size of 16.75 x 16.25. In very good condition, with a few chips and cracks to paint, a touch of very subtle toning to mat, and trimming to cel (as usual).
