TLS, one page, 5 x 8, Burwash, Sussex letterhead, October 22, 1929. Kipling writes to Mr. Rees. In part: “I am deeply appreciative of the honour that you propose…. I only wish it were in my power to accept…. I shall have no time for work outside my present commitments, and, in a matter so important as films, I am not justified in joining any body unless I can do some share of work on it.” Light soiling and wrinkling, otherwise fine condition.
