Lieutenant commander who led dive bombers off Japanese carrier Akagi at Pearl Harbor with the target Battleship Row. Later in the war, he sank the British battleship HMS Hermes. Lot of five signed glossy photos, four 5 x 7 and one 7 x 5, each signed in black felt tip in English and Japanese. In fine condition. Scarce. R&R COA.
