Captured during a 1967 guerilla campaign in Bolivia, he was summarily executed the following day, instantly transformed to a martyr and inspiration for other reactionaries. Rare untranslated Spanish DS signed “Ché,” one page, 14 x 11, January 22, 1960. A provisional certificate for a $400,000.00 bank bond from the Cuban National Bank, dated just weeks after Castro’s triumphant overthrow and Guevara’s new responsibilities as president of the bank.
