Aaron Burr free frank

Revolutionary War soldier, lawyer, Senator and third vice-president of the US. He mortally wounded Alexander Hamilton in a duel, July 11, 1804. Free franked envelope address panel, 7 x 3.25, addressed in Burr’s hand to “Major Augustinbe Prevost, New York,” stamped “Free” in the upper right and franked in the lower left corner, “Free, A. Burr.” In very good condition, with light folds, one vertical fold through a letter of signature, light toning from tape repair to lower right, and a couple slight separations.
