Receipt from Comptroller’s office of Oliver Wolcott, signed by Samuel Talcott, who was a soldier in the American Revolution as part of the “Connecticut Line” first Regiment. Talcott endured the winter of Valley Forge. In part: “No. 2515. Received of Oliver Wolcott, Two Pounds two shillings and sixpences lawful Money.” Accompanied by a photocopy of documentation regarding Valley Forge and the First Regiment. In fine condition. R&R COA.
