Four language ships papers giving permission for the sloop Little Rebecca, bearing 71 tons of pork, beef, flour, butter, soap, hats and dry goods to leave New York, bound for Aux Cayes. Nicely signed in black ink by Madison. In fine condition, with document fold through first letter of signature, a few light blocks of toning, minor edge wear and some show through from notation on reverse.
