Description

French physician and physiologist (1782-1862) who was an early professor of forensic medicine and is remembered for his publication of the 21-volume Dictionnaire de Médecine. ALS in French, signed “Adelon,” three pages on two adjoining sheets, 5 x 7.5, January 7, 1851. Untranslated letter to Ferdinand Denis, administrator of the Sainte-Geneviève Library in Paris. In fine condition.
