Description

American scientist and engineer, known as the 'father of inertial navigation,' (1901-1987) who was the founder and director of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Instrumentation Laboratory, later renamed the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, which made the Apollo Moon landings possible through the Apollo Guidance Computer it designed for NASA. Scarce glossy 8 x 10 photo of Charles Stark Draper, signed in blue felt tip, "Charles S. Draper." In fine condition, with slight brushing to ink in signature. In fine condition.
