Two items: a USCG Cutter Eastwind Mercury-Redstone 3 recovery date cover, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, "To Tim, Alan Shepard"; and four small pieces cut from the flown MR-3/Freedom 7 parachute that allowed Shepard to safely return to Earth after becoming the first American in space, affixed to an 8.5 x 11 copy of a certificate from Ricky Lanclos, hand-signed by Ken Havekotte.
