Collection of eight items related to the Apollo program, including: a first edition, first printing of Hello Earth, hardcover, signed on the half-title page in black felt tip, “Al Worden, Apollo 15”; an Apollo 17 training checklist, dated August 9, 1972, consisting of times and five columns of numbers, with a notation on the reverse in an unknown hand, “QTRS 11”; a two-sided training checklist used in the Apollo command and service module simulators, dated March 8, 1972, consisting of procedures for Power Loss and Braking Gates, with an ink notation on reverse in an unknown hand, “CMS 18”; a scarce softcover book entitled “Saturn Illustrated Chronology: Saturn's First Eight Years, April 1957 through April 1965,” published in 1965; a rare hardcover copy of the Apollo 15 Moon Book, published in 1972; a hardcover copy of Mission to Earth: Landsat Views the World, published in 1976; a prong-fastened Grumman manual entitled “Electrical Power Subsystem Study Guide” for the LM–3 lunar module, revised August 1968; and a hand-painted cast porcelain sculpture of an Apollo astronaut on the moon holding an American flag, 9″ tall, with a small plaque on the base that reads, “1969, Man on the Moon, US Historical Society, 1994.” In overall fine condition, with scattered wear and toning to covers and dust jackets, rusting to fasteners on study guide, and felt tip notations along spine of Saturn book. Signed items are pre-certified Zarelli Space Authentication.
