ALS in pencil, in German, one page on a 5.5 x 3.25 "Prisoner of War Post Card," September 28, 1945. Handwritten letter to "Eggerts," in full (translated): "In spite of everything, chins up! I send you warmest best wishes from captivity." In very good to fine condition, with scattered staining. Written a full year before his execution, at a point when the scope of the coming trial was not yet public, this postcard shows Streicher in a private, almost casual register, offering encouragement to an acquaintance rather than defending himself to a tribunal.
