Complete disbound STS-51-B "EVA Checklist," attested as flown on the Space Shuttle Challenger from April 29, 1985–May 6, 1985, totaling 22 pages, separated into six white-tabbed sections: "EVA Prep," "Depress/Repress," "Failed Leak Check," "Post EVA," "Scientific Airlk Hatch," and "Emer Airlock Repress." The front and back covers feature red stripes affixed along the edge, and the front carries a post-flight ink stamp: "Microfilmed, Jul 18 1985." In overall fine condition, with light wear from use.
This checklist was designed to guide the STS-51-B crew through the critical procedures surrounding an extravehicular activity, from airlock preparation and depressurization to repressurization and post-EVA operations. Although no spacewalk was conducted during the mission, such checklists were essential contingency references, ensuring the crew was prepared to respond methodically to hatch, pressure, or airlock emergencies.
