Group of six embroidered STS-51-B "Spacelab 3" mission patches, measuring 4˝ x 4.75˝, accompanied by three of their original caption slips: "This patch was flown aboard the Space Shuttle 'Challenger' during the Spacelab 3 Mission (STS 51-B) April 29–May 6, 1985." Such patches were carried on the Space Shuttle Challenger and prepared for presentation by NASA; includes a completed example of a crew-signed 14 x 11 NASA presentation featuring an image of the Challenger, with another patch and caption affixed to the mount, signed on the mount in black felt tip by Bob Overmyer, Fred Gregory, Don Lind, Norm Thagard, and William E. Thornton. In overall very good to fine condition, with moderate foxing to the signed mount.
