Handwritten by Pope Pius IX beneath a letter addressed to him by Putois-Crette, expressing hope and trust in God amid difficulties and concluding with a blessing, invoking God’s protection and wishing that the Lord remain always with them. In fine condition, with intersecting folds and light soiling.
