Flown 10K gold STS-51-B Robbins medallion, approximately 1.5˝ x 1.75˝, with a raised design on the face featuring the mission insignia—the Space Shuttle Challenger with its payload doors open to display the onboard Spacelab 3 module. The reverse is engraved with the launch date of April 29, 1985, and the landing date of May 6, 1985. Serial numbered "6F" on the edge, and marked with the Robbins "10K" hallmark. Condition is mint state. Includes its original plastic case. Extremely scarce as one of just 19 gold STS-51-B Robbins medallions carried on the mission.
