It will fit nicely into my daughter's collection. Both of us are grateful for your thoughtfulness. In exchange, I am pleased to enclose the desired photograph plus some pictures which were taken on the various Apollo missions." In fine condition. Written just over six months before the launch of Apollo 16, which Young commanded, the letter dates from the period when he was preparing for his own lunar landing mission, which launched on April 16, 1972.
