Handsomely double-matted with an engraved portrait, a restrike medal portraying the Bonhomme Richard, and an image of the modern USS John Paul Jones to an overall size of 23 x 19. In fine condition. A bold and highly desirable example from the hand of the legendary Revolutionary War naval commander, whose victory aboard the Bonhomme Richard made him an enduring symbol of American courage at sea.
