(Fleischer Studios/King Features Syndicate) Limited-edition hand-painted animation cel entitled “Betty Boop,” 14 x 10.75, signed in the lower right in black ink by celebrated Fleischer animator Myron Waldman, one of the principal artists responsible for defining Betty Boop's appearance during her golden age. The cel features the iconic cartoon star in five different characterizations and costumes surrounding a larger central image of Betty Boop holding her beloved puppy, Pudgy. Additional characters include Koko the Clown, Betty's longtime animated companion, and another early Fleischer cartoon character. The upper corner bears the official limited-edition Fleischer Studios/King Features authentication seal. In fine condition.
