Description

Partly-printed DS, signed “Dwight D. Eisenhower,” one page, 12 x 10, June 8, 1950. Columbia University diploma, in part: "The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York, To all persons to whom these presents may come, greeting: Be it known that Virginia Gregory Walters having completed the studies and satisfied the requirements for the degree of Master of Arts has accordingly been admitted to that degree with all the rights, privileges, and immunities thereunto appertaining." Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Dwight D. Eisenhower as president of the university; the signature of William F. Russell is autopen. Affixed to a same-size mount and in fine condition. Eisenhower served as president of Columbia University from 1948–1953.
