Large ballpoint signature, “Stay sweet always, Jimi Hendrix,” on a 5.75 x 5 album page, which is accompanied by a second album page signed in ballpoint by Mitch Mitchell. The consignor notes that the autograph was obtained at the Chelsea Antiques Market in London, England, in April 1967. In fine condition. A desirable early signature dated shortly before the release of Are You Experienced, the debut studio album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks, a full letter of authenticity from REAL, and a letter of provenance from the original recipient: “In April 1967 Fiona Adams met Jimi to take some photos for FAB 208 Magazine. She took some at my parents’ terrace café in the Chelsea Antiques Market. My father had his camera there and took two black and white photographs of Jimi with me, my mother, my sister, and her friend.” The signature includes two modern photographs of the recipient with Hendrix at the Chelsea Antiques Market with the recipient and his family.
