Limited edition 24 x 18 artist's proof print of Charles Conrad's lunar photo of Apollo 12 astronaut Alan Bean holding a special environmental sample container filled with lunar soil on November 20, 1969, numbered 229/1000, signed in black ink by Conrad, and countersigned by proofer David Rose, who identifies the work as "Job Number 0844," "Page 62," and "Issue 6-83." In very fine condition. This beautifully produced limited edition offset print on high-quality paper was offered on the occasion of American Photographer's 5th Anniversary, back in 1983.
