Flown heat shield fragment from the Apollo 8 spacecraft, measuring approximately 1.25˝ x .5˝ x .5˝, encased in a 3˝ x 1.25˝ x 1˝ Lucite block with affixed contractor's label from North American Rockwell's Space Division: "Apollo 8, Spacecraft 103, 1st Manned Lunar Flight, 12-21-68 to 12-27-68." In fine condition.
