Scottish explorer of Africa (1771-1806) known as the first Westerner to travel the central portion of the Niger River. Scarce manuscript DS, signed “Mungo Park,” one page, 7.25 x 4, no date. Invoice amounting to £40, in full: "Twenty pounds in account of my travelling expences & twenty pounds on account of the travelling expences of Mr. Anderson." Neatly signed at the conclusion in ink by Mungo Park. In fine condition.
