Foch,” one page, 5.5 x 4.25, personal stationery card letterhead, January 19, 1928. Handwritten letter addressed to “Inspector General of Administrative Services, Chief of the Cabinet of the Minister of Public Works,” in full (translated): “I have been asked to kindly inform you myself that Mr. Pleutre, Director of the Valenciennoise Company, and Mr. Lafitte, Chief Engineer of the Company, will come to see you regarding the difficulties to be resolved. Please receive, without delay, the assurance of my most distinguished sentiments.” In fine condition, with very faint brushing to the ink. Accompanied by the original hand-addressed envelope.
