Manuscript DS in Italian, signed “Mussolini” and “Vittorio Emanuele,” one page, 9.75 x 14.5, October 25, 1928. Royal decree issued from San Rossore removing a reserve artillery officer from rank for disciplinary reasons. In part (translated): “On the proposal of the Head of Government, Prime Minister, Secretary of State, and Minister Secretary of State for War, We have decreed and do decree: Sole Article—Second Lieutenant of the reserve, in the artillery branch, Massini Alfredo of Luigi…is removed from his rank for disciplinary reasons.” The decree notes his prior suspension by order dated September 16, 1928, and cites Article 7 of the law of March 11, 1926. Boldly signed at the conclusion in ink by Benito Mussolini and King Vittorio Emanuele III. In very good to fine condition, with creasing, and small binding slits, to the edges.
