TLS as president, signed “D. E.,” one page, 7 x 10.25, personal White House letterhead, May 11, 1953. Letter to his older brother, Edgar N. Eisenhower, in full: "I am engaged in preparing a very abbreviated chart containing statistical data on our immediate family in the Eisenhower tribe. The chart is being prepared to surround a reproduction of the wedding picture of our father and mother.
Data included will necessarily be brief, but I would like to have such vital statistics as you care to send me pertaining to Lucy, and to Janis and Jack. In the case of each of the boys, the date of birth will be shown, with principal occupation—in your case the word 'Lawyer'—and anything else that you might particularly like included.
For each individual shown, I should, of course, like to indicate date of birth and so on. After the entire chart has been prepared, I will have copies struck off and one sent to you if you would care to have it." In fine condition. Accompanied by Edgar Eisenhower's retained carbon copy of his reply, providing the important dates requested.
