ALS signed "G. B. S.," one page on a 5.5 x 3.5 postcard from 'The Old House,' December 4, 1904. Handwritten letter to John Hanlin, Jr. In full: "I think Les Aveugles another good idea for the triple bill, and just the thing to give relief to my more festive style. But still a better finish would be a topical piece or revue by you, in verse. We could then not only get through a whole season without the eternal Shaw, but get a witty piece as well to show that there are as good fish in the sea as G. B. Salmon. I haven't read Miss J. B.'s piece, but I agree that we should have a beginner. Think seriously about the revue: I am very much in earnest about it." In fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
