Rontgen,” one page, 4.5 x 7, August 24, 1920. Handwritten letter explaining that although he once had photographs taken by Nicola Perscheid, "held by many friends to be lifelike," he no longer has copies at his disposal and can therefore not fulfill his correspondent's request. Handsomely mounted, matted, and framed with a portrait to an overall size of 21.75 x 18; on the reverse are the affixed certification and seal of famed autograph dealer Charles Hamilton. In fine condition, with two small file holes at the left edge.
