Son of auto pioneer Henry Ford (1893–1943) who succeeded his father as head of the Ford Motor Company. ALS, two pages on two adjoining sheets, 5.75 x 7.75, personal letterhead, November 3, 1938. Handwritten letter to Miss Witmore, in full: “I wish that we were able to have you stop off here for some dancing lessons this fall. Unfortunately, we are having to go down east at least three times this month, so that it does not seem practical. Your suggestion is a good one and I wish that we could have worked it out.” In very good to fine condition, with toning along the right edge of the first page, and a crease along the right edge of the second page.
