Magnificent set of vintage ballpoint signatures of the Beatles — “John Lennon,” “George Harrison,” “Paul McCartney,” and “Ringo Starr”— on an off-white 9 x 7 sheet, which were obtained on October 13, 1963, when the band famously performed on Val Parnell’s popular variety show Sunday Night at the London Palladium. The Beatles performed ‘From Me to You,’ ‘I’ll Get You,’ ‘She Loves You,’ and ‘Twist and Shout’ in front of a TV audience of 15 million viewers. To the delight of press photographers, dozens of fans blocked the street outside, a situation that made for front-page-ready pictures and stories for the next morning's paper. The Daily Mirror described the mass hysteria in a single word that would soon be adopted into the worldwide cultural lexicon—Beatlemania. In very good to fine condition, with light creasing, intersecting folds, and a small tape stain on the back, showing through behind Lennon's signature.
