1795 Pennsylvania land grant approved by Governor Thomas Mifflin, who conveys a tract of land called "Suffield" to fellow Founding Father “Dr. Benjamin Rush"

Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “Tho. Mifflin,” one page, 20.25 x 11, April 23, 1795. As governor of Pennsylvania, Mifflin grants unto “Dr. Benjamin Rush a certain tract of land called ‘Suffield’…containing Four hundred & forty nine Acres and eighty five perches.” Signed in the upper left corner by Mifflin, and countersigned at the conclusion by James Trimble. The original paper seal remains affixed to the upper left corner. In fine condition. A desirable association piece between two Founding Fathers.
