Description

American politician (1753–1813) who served as both attorney general and secretary of state in George Washington's cabinet. DS as secretary of state, signed “Edm: Randolph,” one page both sides, 8 x 13, June 9, 1794. Official printing of acts passed by the Third Congress of the United States during its Third Session, including "An Act supplementary to the act intituled 'Act to promote the progress of Useful Arts'" and "An Act making certain alterations in the act for establishing the Judicial Courts, and altering the Time and Place of holding certain Courts." Neatly signed at the conclusion in ink by Secretary of State Edmund Randolph. In fine condition, with a few short fold splits, and faint staining to the lower right corner.
