World-champion Cuban chess player (1888–1942) considered one of the greatest of all time. Autograph mathematical manuscript in Spanish, signed twice, "Jose Raul Capablanca," four pages on two adjoining sheets, 8.25 x 12, June 22, 1904. Mathematical schoolwork headed "Instituto de Matanzas," accomplished entirely in the hand of the young Capablanca. In very good to fine condition, with splitting to the hinge and the central horizontal fold.
