Handwritten letter expressing gratitude for an invitation, in part: "I am very sorry to find that I have left the kind invitation of your's for Monday last unacknowledged. It would have given me great pleasure to be present on the occasion of the nineteenth anniversary of your association. As it is, I can only express my regrets for my unavoidable absence." In very good to fine condition, with minor corner loss, and repairs to a tear and fold splits.
