Rare original Atlantis ‘solid state electronic’ pinball machine manufactured by Bally Manufacturing and originally released in April 1989. The machine, which measures 28.75˝ x 55˝ x 75.5˝, features marvelous ocean mythology graphics to the cabinet, backglass, and playfield, which include sea creatures like sharks, starfish, moray eels, and various fish, as well as underwater structures, treasure, and attractive female divers and dolphin riders. The bottom of the playfield features a credits sheet and a copyright caption, “Atlantis, 1989 Midway Mfg. Co., Manufacturers of Bally Amusement Games, All Rights Reserved.” Includes its coin tray and an Atlantis "Operations and Parts Information Manual" binder. In fine condition, with scattered light wear and dings to the cabinet. A beautiful retro pinball machine with bright, bold colors and incredible ocean-themed artwork—Atlantis remains a rare and desirable title given that only 1,501 units were ever produced.
