Uncommon 14 x 22 poster for the local primary election in Hamtramck, Michigan, on March 7, 1934, headed: "Vote Communist: Against Hunger, Wage Cuts, Fascism & War!" The poster features the portrait of mayoral candidate George Kristalsky at the top, plus the images of a slate of seven candidates for councilmen. A ten-point platform is outlined at the bottom, demanding a 75¢ minimum wage for factory workers, cash relief for the unemployed, free lunches in public schools, anti-discrimination measures, and investment in public infrastructure.
