An agreement between the Universal Pictures Company and Chandler, in full: "This will constitute the following agreement between you and us relating to that certain agreement between you and us dated April 10, 1947, as heretofore amended, concerning the story and screenplay entitled 'PLAY BACK': The references in in paragraphs TENTH and ELEVENTH of said agreement dated April 10, 1947 to 'one (1) week' shall be deemed to be and the same are hereby deleted therefrom, and in place and stead thereof is inserted 'three (3) weeks.' Except as hereinabove expressly provided, said agreement of April 10, 1947, as heretofore amended is not otherwise altered, amended, changed or affected in any manner or particular whatsoever. If the foregoing is in accordance with your understanding and agreement, kindly indicate your approval and acceptance thereof in the space hereinbelow provided." Signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint by Raymond Chandler, and countersigned by two Universal Pictures representatives. In fine condition.
