Vintage glossy 8.75 x 6.5 photo of Armstrong with Bing Crosby on the set of the 1936 musical Pennies from Heaven, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "Best wishes to Bob, from Louis Armstrong.” Framed to an overall size of 10 x 8, with a note affixed to the backing stating that it was signed "backstage at the Apollo Theatre, Harlem, New York (approx. 1944)." In very good to fine condition, with some small creases, and poor-to-moderate signature contrast.
